NOI — Privacy Policy

NOI (“NOI”, “we”, “us”) operates the solar-income management platform at joinnoi.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have — including how we handle data accessed through Google APIs.

Information we collect

• Account information you provide (name, email, phone, profile photo) to create and manage your operator account.
• Business records you enter into the platform (deals, contacts, clients, projects, documents).
• Google account data, only if you choose to connect your Google account (described below).

Google user data

If you connect your Google account, we request the following scopes to power the email features:

• gmail.send — to send email on your behalf from within the platform.
• gmail.readonly — to read messages exchanged with contacts already registered in your account, so correspondence is logged on the relevant contact, deal, and client records.
• openid, userinfo.email — to identify the connected mailbox.

We only ingest and display email messages whose participants include a contact email already stored in your NOI account. We store message metadata (sender, recipients, subject, date, thread id) and a short snippet to render the correspondence log. Access and refresh tokens are stored encrypted and are used solely to provide these features on your behalf.

Limited Use disclosure

NOI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy (https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not transfer it to third parties except as necessary to provide the service, comply with law, or as part of a merger with your consent. Google user data is not used to develop, improve, or train generalized AI/ML models.

How we use information

• Provide and operate the platform (CRM, projects, billing, correspondence log).
• Send email you compose, and display correspondence with your registered contacts.
• Secure the service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with infrastructure providers that host the service (Google Cloud) under contractual confidentiality, and where required by law. Within your organization, account owners may view correspondence logged to shared records.

Retention & deletion

You can disconnect your Google account at any time from Settings → My profile → Disconnect. Disconnecting immediately revokes NOI's access and refresh tokens with Google and deletes those tokens from our systems. On request at privacy@joinnoi.com we will also permanently delete all email content and metadata previously synced from your Gmail, and you may request deletion of your entire account. We retain Google user data only as long as needed to provide the correspondence-log feature, or until you disconnect or request deletion.
